Office Policies

Appointments and Cancellations

Appointments for Peer Medical can be booked by a phone call, or through our online patient portal. The doctors are doing both in office, and phone appointments. Please indicate which type of appointment you are wanting when you booked. Please note, online booking can only be used for a regular 10 minute appointment. If you are needing to book an appointment with the nurse, or a physical with your doctor, please call the office.

Our physicians are only able to address up to 2 problems per visit. If you have multiple complaints you will be asked to book another appointment.

We require 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment, however, in the event of an unforeseen emergency this may be waived. There are many other patients waiting for appointments and failure to cancel may result in a missed appointment charge.

Prescription Renewals

No prescription refills will be given over the phone through our staff. Please make an appointment with your physician. Certain medications require monitoring and it is up to your physician to decide when you need to be seen for a refill.

If you are running low on a prescription, please try to make an appointment 2 weeks before you will be out so all prescriptions can be filled in a timely manner.

Medical Notes

Doctor's notes can not be requested over the phone. You must make an appointment to see your physician. Please allow up to 2-4 weeks for forms to be completed, depending on their length.

Results

For patient security and privacy, it is our clinic policy not to provide results via phone or email. Please make an appointment with your physician to discuss results. You will only be contacted by our office to come in for an appointment if the doctor would like to discuss the results.

Our staff are unable to interpret lab results and will not comment when asked. Please also understand that it can take up to 10 days for our office to receive results back from various labs/hospitals.
